Purpose and Scope: Deliver talent acquisition support and service for to advance the annual and long-range talent and organizational plan.  Effectively source and identify candidates for roles while enhancing the end to end recruitment process including vendor management, business communication, relationship management, on-boarding, and recruitment metrics.  With a unique internal and external talent-focused vantage point, the Talent Acquisition Director is involved in global work with the HR Generalists to support strategic organizational plans and various talent management initiatives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  •         Proactively lead and manage the Talent Acquisition function including the hiring of employees, management of temporary employees, and maintaining the relationship with outside vendors providing non-employee candidates.
  •          Responsible for finalizing the offer process, inclusive of reference checks, background screens, and compensation requirements, while managing the acceptance and turndowns of all candidates.
  •         Manage the talent acquisition process in partnership with HR Generalists and Corporate Talent Acquisition team members, driving consistent use of common tools, systems, and processes that cultivates hiring efficiency with greater retention.
  •         Work closely with internal “clients” / business leaders for continuous understanding of their business in order to deliver relevant talent strategies while providing market intelligence and functional expertise.
  •          Support the building of internal and external bench talent through succession planning processes  and career path initiatives.

Job Requirements:

    •       10+ years of Human Resources experience required.
    •         Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and talent management initiatives.
    •         Experienced HR business partner, demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with key business partners.
    •         Ability to work collaboratively across divisions and functions to propose solutions to business issues.
    •         Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
    •         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence business partners at all levels.
    •         Strong presentation skills.
    •         High professional standards regarding internal customer service and confidentiality.
    •         Ability to think strategically while executing at a detailed level.
    •         Demonstrated influencing and analytical skills.
    •        Flexibility and adaptability; ability to successfully work under pressure and handle projects simultaneously.
    •        Detailed knowledge of business metrics that drive business performance.
    •        College degree, preferably in business or HR management.
